Andy Murray found positive for the virus before the Australian Open
London, 14 January
Star tennis player Andy Murray has been found positive in the Coronavirus test, a day before he leaves the UK for the Australian Open.
A person aware of the incident told the Associated Press that the three-time Grand Slam champion is on his own home from the sidelines and he is still expected to play in the Australian Open.
Murray is granted a wild card entry to the first Grand Slam of the year.
The Australian Open will begin on February 8 with a three-week delay due to Kovid-19 restrictions. It is mandatory for the players and their support staff to remain on segregation for 14 days upon arrival in Australia.
