Habibul Bashar Covid-19 positive in investigation

Former Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar has been found positive in the Covid-19 investigation and according to the news received here he is in isolation at home.
Test captain Mominul Haque and all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyadh were found to be Kovid-19 positive this week ahead of current national selector Bashar.
Bashar told the Bangla Tribune, “I was very cautious, but still I got infected.”
They said, “We can’t do anything. I had a fever since Monday and then it was 102 degrees. This continued till Tuesday, so I checked on Wednesday morning and in the evening I came to know to be positive.”
Bashar, 48, who has played 50 Tests and 111 ODIs for Bangladesh, was present during training and matches for the last few months.
Some other star players from Bangladesh have overcome Covid-19 including Mashrafe Mortaza, Abu Zayed and Saif Hassan.
